Tiers
How holding the Tacita token gives you a tier that sets your daily Bonus balance, the 24-hour minimum-balance rule with a worked example, and how thresholds can change.
On this page
Tiers are a bonus for holding the Tacita token. Your tier depends on how much of the token your wallet holds, as a share of total supply, and it sets your daily Bonus balance: free daily credits, renewed every day at 00:00 UTC.
The tiers#
| Tier | Share of total supply held | Daily Bonus balance |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Less than 0.05% | — |
| 1 | ≥ 0.05% | $0.10 |
| 2 | ≥ 0.15% | $0.25 |
| 3 | ≥ 0.4% | $0.50 |
| 4 | ≥ 1% | $1.00 |
- The Bonus balance is the only thing a tier adds. Every model in both modes, including TEE, Kimi K3, images and video, is open to anyone with credits, and limits are the same for everyone. Your Bonus works on any model.
- You don't need a tier to use Tacita. Your Main balance works the same way at every tier, including tier 0.
- Charges come from your Bonus balance first, then from your Main balance. The Bonus is renewed every day at 00:00 UTC, and unused Bonus doesn't roll over. See Credits.
- These are launch values. The thresholds live on-chain in the TacitaConfig contract and can be changed. See When thresholds change.
- The daily amounts can scale down. If the Bonus given out outruns the treasury's income, a global "fuse" scales every tier's daily Bonus down together. See Credits.
The 24-hour rule#
Your tier uses your lowest balance over the last 24 hours, not just your current balance.
- How it's measured. The gateway takes your Tacita token balance at the top of every hour over the last 24 hours, which is 25 hourly samples, plus your current balance. Your tier uses the lowest of these.
- Everyone is sampled at the same moments. Moving one batch of tokens between wallets can't raise two wallets' tiers, because each sample sees the tokens in only one place.
- How it's compared. The lowest balance is divided by the token's current total supply and compared with the thresholds.
- New tokens count from the first full hour boundary 24 hours after they arrive. Tokens that arrive at 12:20 start counting at 13:00 the next day, once every sample in the window was taken after they arrived.
Worked example#
You hold the Tacita token in one wallet. Say tier 2 starts at 0.15% and tier 3 at 0.4%.
| When (UTC) | What happens | Balance now | Lowest of the samples and current balance | Tier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mon 09:00 | You've held 0.2% for a week | 0.2% | 0.2% | 2 |
| Mon 12:20 | You buy more | 0.5% | 0.2% (the earlier samples) | 2 |
| Tue 13:00 | Every sample in the window now comes after the purchase | 0.5% | 0.5% | 3 |
| Wed 15:30 | You move 0.2% to another wallet | 0.3% | 0.3% (your current balance) | 2 |
| Wed 16:10 | You move it back | 0.5% | 0.3% (the 16:00 sample) | 2 |
| Thu 17:00 | The 16:00 sample has left the 24-hour window | 0.5% | 0.5% | 3 |
A drop counts as soon as it happens, through your current balance. It keeps counting for as long as any hourly sample in the window caught it. A dip that starts and ends between two hour boundaries counts only while it lasts.
The tier is cached for up to 30 minutes, so changes can take that much longer to appear. Your daily Bonus always follows your current tier. If your tier drops during the day, today's remaining Bonus shrinks with it.
What counts as your balance#
Only Tacita tokens held directly by the wallet you sign in with count. These don't count:
- tokens held in another wallet;
- tokens on an exchange;
- tokens deposited in a liquidity pool or another contract.
If your tier shows "pending"#
If the chain can't be read, the gateway falls back to the Blockscout explorer, then to the hourly samples it has already stored. If none of them answer, your tier is temporarily 0 and marked pending. Retry in a minute. Your Main balance still works in the meantime.
When thresholds change#
The thresholds are stored in the TacitaConfig contract on Robinhood Chain, in basis points of total supply. They are currently 0.05%, 0.15%, 0.4% and 1%. They are expected to be tuned after launch to fit the real number of holders.
- Only the contract's admin can change them, with
setTierThresholds. The contract enforces that every threshold is above zero, that each is higher than the one before, and that none is above 100%. - Every change is public. It emits a
TierThresholdsUpdatedevent with the old and new values, visible on Blockscout. - There's no delay built in. A change applies on-chain immediately. The gateway picks it up within about an hour, allowing for its caches.
- The dollar amounts per tier are not on-chain. They are gateway settings, and the fuse can scale them down.
Read the live values#
On Blockscout, open the contract's Read contract tab and call tierThresholdsBps(). Or from a terminal:
cast call 0x0C69Da827D248deE0Af15E0979b652BD8745D1C4 "tierThresholdsBps()(uint16[4])" \
--rpc-url https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com
When you're signed in, the app shows your lowest 24-hour share and your current tier. The contract's own tierOf(address) uses your current balance. It ignores the 24-hour rule, so it can show a higher tier than the app does.
