It depends on the mode, and we won't round it up. Anonymous mode hides who you are, but the model provider sees your prompt and may keep it. TEE mode is end-to-end encrypted: your browser encrypts each message so that only an attested enclave can read it, and Tacita, the model provider and the host can't. See Privacy modes.

In TEE mode, no. Our gateway only relays ciphertext and rejects plaintext. In Anonymous mode, our gateway sees your prompt in transit because it has to forward it, but it writes it to no log and no database. Your history is stored only in your browser, encrypted, and we have no copy.

History lives only in that browser. Clearing site data deletes it, and it doesn't sync to other devices. If a conversation matters, keep a copy elsewhere. See Data handling.

Its attestation doesn't currently verify. The same is true of Kimi K2.6 and Qwen 3.8 27B. The badge is checked live for each model, and we show it only when the checks pass. The other 9 TEE models verify. That's the status as of 27 October 2026; the app always shows the live state. See Attestation.

The TEE models are text models, and image and video generation don't run in enclaves today. End-to-end encryption also currently carries text only, so attachments aren't possible yet. Use Anonymous mode for images, video and vision, and keep in mind that the model provider sees what you send.

A wallet lets you prove the account is yours without an email, a phone number or a password. Signing in is what lets you spend credits on chat, images and video, and it's how holders get their daily Bonus balance. Topping up doesn't need it. Signing in means signing a standard SIWE message. It isn't a transaction, it costs no gas, and it can't move your funds. Before you sign, check that the message says tacita.chat.

You can sign in, because smart-contract signatures (ERC-1271 and ERC-6492) are verified. However, these wallets may not give a stable key for your encrypted history, so old chats may not reopen later. For the best experience, use a regular wallet (EOA). Coinbase Wallet is supported in its regular-account mode.

Open tacita.chat inside your mobile wallet's built-in browser, for example MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet or Trust Wallet. If you open it in a regular phone browser, Tacita offers links that reopen the page inside your wallet app.

Yes. Top up your Main balance with one plain transfer of USDG or ETH from your wallet to the Tacita treasury on Robinhood Chain. The transfer needs no sign-in, approval or signature, and the amount goes to the Main balance of the wallet you send from once it's confirmed. Sign in with that wallet, which is free and needs no gas, and you can use everything: both modes and every model, including Kimi K3, images and video. You pay only for what you use, with the same prices as everyone else. Holding the token adds a daily Bonus balance on top, which is spent first.

Before a request runs, the gateway sets aside the most it could cost, based on your prompt and the maximum answer length. Afterwards you're charged for actual usage and the rest comes back. In TEE mode that's exactly the model's official list price, and images and video are charged the listed price. Anonymous mode runs on a secondary compute market: prices are typically below each model's official list price, and every request is routed to the lowest available price for that model first. You're billed the actual price the request was served at, and never more than the official list price. If you can't cover the amount set aside, the request is refused. A shorter prompt, a shorter maximum answer or a different model fixes it. See Credits.

No. If the model errors or is unavailable, or something fails on Tacita's side, you get a full refund. If an answer stops partway through, you pay for the estimated prompt and the part that was streamed.

No. Your Bonus balance is renewed every day at 00:00 UTC, and unused Bonus doesn't roll over. Your Main balance, your own top-ups, never expires.

Your tier uses your lowest balance over the last 24 hours. A purchase starts counting from the first full hour boundary 24 hours after it arrives in your wallet. Only tokens held directly in the wallet you sign in with count, so tokens on an exchange or in a pool don't. Your Main balance works in the meantime. See Tiers.

No. The Tacita token gives you a daily Bonus balance of free AI credits through tiers. It carries no revenue share, no yield and no promised returns. See What the token is not.
